hahaha basically, life was pretty shit. going out was shit, bennyp got banned from the only fun club in town (idiot) work was a load of bollocks, still is, no real stonemasonry anymore, id split up with me gal, riding had gone to shit (no change there hahaa) and i was generally de-stoked.

panting rung me up and said hed spoken to the landowners about some woods.

obviously, i though hahah wtf panting+trails=no way mann. but he was foo realll.

next thing i know its a sunday, 10am, id just driven through 6 miles of twisty singletrack lanes and pulled up to a gate against a large hill into some woodland. the area was unreal, moss everywhere such a quaint and awsome village too. but anyway, expecting them to show us somehwere nowhere near here, they came trundling down the woods, beaming smiles, very farmery looking types haha, meeted and greeted, handshakes, howdadoya, name check, and after explain the theory of trails and trails ettiqute, and the nature of trails blady blah, simon was more than keen to give us a tour of the woods, explain the area, "you just build what you like and have fun guys" maybe something like that, obv we have to respect the land but who wouldnt?

so after a half hour chat and tour of the most immaculate dream woods ive ever witnessed, m&s (booom) wandered off over the field back to there home and i was left with the biggest beaming smile on my chops.

they are so down to earth about everyhting, they really are just genuine, happy, kind people, and the world needs more people like them. from this day, i intend to be like that, i always have appreciated life in general, but maybe havent given back to people/everywhere. okay, so a bit of salt is funny!

so firstly, even though he bledy never reads this thing, ive gotta say a huge massive thankyou to benny p. you legend. and ben rose! double legends. without you guys this wouldnt of happened. i dont know how the fuck you managed to stumble upon those two walking that day and i dont know what you said, but its got us a little slice of heaven, and all of you out there with you little bit of land you have, legit or underground, goddam appreciate it, goddam use it til you die, and goddam have some fun in process.
